Permanent position, 36.5 hours per week.

We are looking for a talented and creative video producer to join a growing and ambitious marketing team for our Commercial and Innovation Group at the University of Warwick.

This is an exciting new role where you will help create exciting, engaging content that supports marketing communications across the business areas within the Commercial and Innovation Group such as campaigns, product launches and customer engagement activities.

The role will work across a range of business areas, which includes Warwick Sport, Warwick Conferences, Warwick Arts Centre and Warwick Retail

About you:

  • You've have extensive experience shooting and producing film, and you understand how to communicate the right information in the most engaging way
  • You can take and offer artistic direction, but you also understand how to measure and improve your work so it meets audience needs
  • You'll know how to think big and deliver content that is truly innovative, but always deliver on brand, on message and on time
  • You'll need to work at pace, on multiple projects and with multiple stakeholders

JOB PURPOSE


To work within the Commercial and Innovation Marketing team, filming, audio recording and editing high quality content for distribution across multiple channels for business areas in CCSG and the Innovation Group.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Selfproduce video and audio recording content including set up, lighting and filming, ensuring highest editorial and technical standards
  • Camera operation, including the set up and filming of narrative/interviews, audio podcasting and light rigging
  • Edit footage, using the Adobe Suite including Premier Pro
  • Plan and produce appropriate audio and video content, consulting with stakeholders throughout the production process to deliver content that meets the brief
  • Ensure that video content is accessible to broaden its reach and usability
  • Ensure that all content adheres to the brand guidelines for each business area and is compliant, including the correct use of consent and GDPR
  • Create a systematic approach to checking content for errors and suitability and preparing it for publishing. (e.g. sound dub, colour grades and captioning)
  • Work closely with other members of the Commercial and Innovation Marketing team to manage the distribution of content across media channels (eg website, YouTube etc)
