Description

Goodman Masson are searching for an Investment Accountant to join a leading global Private Equity firm. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain unrivalled exposure to the private equity industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and "real time" processing of underlying Call and Distribution Notices and recording of expenses in bespoke Investment Monitoring system.
Oversight and review of all portfolio investments underlying valuations, primarily from GP provided Capital Accounts, using sound judgement and interpretation.
Collation, testing and provision of Quarterly and Annual valuations for inclusion in Accounts, LP meetings, reporting requirements and ad hoc investor circulars.
Partnering with Middle Office/IT teams to innovate marketleading investment platform functionality.
Aiding in forecasting and monitoring cash requirements for the Funds, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet Investment costs and expenses whilst maximising returns to Investors.
Assist in the preparation of a weekly reporting pack to be distributed to senior management.
Daily monitoring and weekly reconciliation of their database to that of our administrator.

Key Attributes:

Recently qualified Accountant
Practice trained and / or Fund Accounting experience (either in house or at an administrator) preferred
Strong Excel skills
