Are you a qualified teaching assistant? Do you have experience in delivering interventions to children working below age expected level?

The main duties within the role will be:

  • Delivering interventions to pupils preparing for their end of year KS1 assessments
  • Delivering interventions to pupils in year six for their SATS assessments
  • Keeping track of pupils progress
  • Planning sessions to meet the needs of children
  • Differentiating sessions to meet the needs of different abilities
  • Liaising with the class teacher around pupil progress

The school are looking for someone who:

  • Has an understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Possesses at least one years experience working in a school
  • Is an effective communicator
  • Can deliver enthusiastic and energetic sessions
