    Description
    Do you have a passion for supporting individuals recovering from eating disorders? Are you looking for a rewarding temporary role where you can make a real impact?


    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dedicated team working 35 hours per week, based in Norfolk.


    About the role:


    In this crucial role, you will play a key part in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder.

    You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and deliver personalised treatment plans.


    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients' physical and mental health.
    • Delivering individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
    • Educating patients and their families about eating disorders and treatment options.
    • Providing support and guidance to patients as they navigate recovery challenges.
    • Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
    • Contributing to the development and improvement of eating disorder services.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Is a registered Mental Health Nurse with at least 3 years of experience working with eating disorders.
    • Has a strong understanding of current best practices in eating disorder treatment.
    • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
    • Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with eating disorders.
    • Is flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Is a team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
