    Warehouse Supervisor- Thame

    Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor for join our Distribution client based in Thame.

    This role is to become the Warehouse Lead for all inbound and outbound activities for this customer.

    You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of orders and reporting to the Logistics Manager to ensuring efficient and organised storage and distribution of goods. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.

    Hours: 8:30-5:30pm

    Salary: £12.00 per hour

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure a productive and motivated team.
    • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and coordinate restocking and replenishment activities.
    • Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining high standards.
    • Safety: Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to create a secure work environment.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously improve warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery.
    • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including loading, and unloading of trucks.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments.
    • Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
    • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues, discrepancies, or challenges that arise in the warehouse.
    Requirements/Skills:
    • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
    • Flexi forklift is an advantage
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety regulations, and inventory management.
    • Proficiency in using warehouse software
