Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our Client in the warehouse team. The role will be ensuring orders are correctly picked, packed and loaded onto vehicles.


Working in mainly a freezer environment

Salary:
£30,000 per annum with a review after 3 months
The role is Sunday-Thursday 19:15-06: hour break throughout shift


What this job involves

  • Preparing and checking customer orders
  • Work with our customers and courier partners who collect daily.
  • Ensure all elements which are integral to our operations are prepared each shift (boxes, labels, pallets etc).
  • Checking orders for errors.
  • Management of stock levels, stock checks and stock replenishment
  • Maintaining adequate stock rotation.
  • Highlighting issues to the appropriate line manager.
  • Administrative tasks to ensure checks are up to date.
  • Compliance with all regulations and company policy on Health & Safety.
  • Receiving and dispatching goods.
  • Various adhoc duties as required.

As a Coldstore Operative, you will:

  • Have previous experience working in Coldstore (Freezers)
  • Be a quick learner.
  • Versatile.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Hard working.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team Player
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations

Forklift/Reach truck licence preferred but not essential.
