Finance Officer (Accounts Receivables):

Butler Rose is working with one of the largest housing associations in London and the south-east in their search for Finance Officer (Accounts Receivables) to join their team.

This is a 14 months contract role in London and is paying up to £16.65 an hour.

This role purpose is to maintain the integrity of the Accounts Receivable Ledger, chasing up outstanding debts. Ensure that the Sundry Debt Collection Policy is operated and provide an administrative / financial support service.

Duties:

Approval of and processing of sales invoices across the business
Induct new staff and support where appropriate across the business
Maintaining and amending records. Check received documentation is correct against other records, communicating with the relevant party if errors are identified and resolve said errors
Data checking and entering data onto a variety of computer systems in a timely and accurate manner
Identify cash receipts for AR and provide debtor accounts for each
Approve sales orders
Produce monthly aged debtor reports, Reconciliation of Debtor Accounts
Preparing / posting journals
Operation of the Sundry Debt Collection Policy. Keep Sundry Debt Collection Policy up to date and communicate to appropriate managers as required
Provide training on the Sundry Debt Collection Policy to operational colleagues
Experience of or ability to work within financial environment of a fastpaced organisation.
Experience of collecting and providing information
Experience of delivering a customer focused service
Adequate knowledge and understanding of financial processes, preferably within a housing environment
Experience of word processing and data processing I.T skills, with speed and accuracy
