Hatfield - Hybrid working

Payment of up to two professional subscriptions pa**We are supporting a Hatfield based pharma company with the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Assistant to administer the company expenses.

The role is a hybrid based one, and is based in lovely offices in Hatfield, which has great facilities, and iswell known for its people focused culture.

Are you an experienced Expenses Administrator looking for a new permanent role?


You will be responsible for:


  • Administration of expense management system (Concur)
  • Administration of all EMEA corporate cards
  • User maintenance on Concur and Barclaycard websites
  • Training of users on Concur and Barclaycard Websites
  • Processing expense claims ensuring compliance with company policy local law
  • Ensure correct P11D and PSA income tax treatment of relevant claims
  • Ensure correct VAT treatment of claims
  • Coding of credit card and purchase card claims
  • Management of cash claims on SAP AP
  • Production of payment runs for cash claims for UK administered companies
  • Calculate and post month end accruals for credit and purchase card claims on SAP GL
  • General administration and document management
  • Provide support to European affiliates
  • Complete balance sheet recs for Financial Accounting
  • System development and testing as required
  • Company car and mileage reporting
  • Ad hoc Finance Team support

Systems knowledge required:


  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel mainly)
  • SAP
  • Outlook
  • Credit Card and Expenses websites (currently Barclaycard and Concur)
  • Office based
  • Open plan office environment
