Your Role as a

Teaching Assistant:
As a Teaching Assistant with Pink Tile Education, you will have the chance to
:

  • Assist teachers in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • Provide oneonone or group support to students who need it most.
  • Contribute to the development of nurturing and inclusive learning environments.
  • Witness the transformative power of education every day.

Previous Experience with Transferable Skills:


  • Roles within an education setting
- (Health) Care Worker/Assistant

  • Youth Worker/Assistant
  • Nursery experience
  • Volunteering and Work Placements
  • Clubs
  • SEND life experiences (e.g. son/daughter with SEND, close family member, etc).
  • Psychology (and those close in likeness) Degree or Qualifications, e.g. A Level, online courses.
  • Childminding/babysitting/Childcare worker
  • Working with clients with learning disabilities or SEND
  • Social Worker
  • Coaching or Instructing
  • Mentoring or Tutoring

Requirements:


  • A passion for education and a desire to inspire the next generation.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • The ability to connect with and support students from various backgrounds.
  • Be ready to learn as you go, about SEND and SEMH, particularly Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
  • A commitment to your own professional development.
  • A DBS active on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through our channel.
  • References from employment or education from the last two years.
  • Complete a safeguarding course to get you up to date with the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education publication.
