Full Job Description of Children Support Service Manager.

About us:


We are a Social Care Agency providing care and support for families with children or young people, who are on the edge of care spectrum or with additional needs, we provide support in the community, and in family homes working closely with various localauthorities.


As Children Support Service Manager you will need to:
Ensure the quality of service provision meets the policies and expectations of the service.

To facilitate effective communication between the organisation, service users, support staff, external health professionals and local authorities

To prepare reports and attend review and multiagency meetings

To regularly review and audit your service in line with CQC and local authority regulations

The management of operating budgets

Leadership and performance management of teams and individuals


Person Specification for Support Service Manager:
Hands on care experience and building the Domiciliary & Social Care business

Domiciliary Care and Social Care management experience

Good relationship skills to network

Quality delivery of care - monitoring, regulation and governance to aim to achieve an "Outstanding Service" with CQC

Ideally hold a management's qualification, or Level 5 Diploma in Social Care or equivalent (or working towards).

Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a team within a similar role is essential, ideally within a domiciliary/Social care setting

Must have a full Uk licence and access to your own vehicle
