Design Engineer (Hydraulics, Mechanical and Drivetrain)

You will be involved in hydraulic component selection, hydraulic circuit design and supporting the production team with hydraulic issues. You will also be involved in preliminary BOM Maintenance and the standardisation of designs across product families. You will be the go-to person for care and maintenance of Whale driveline and hydraulic designs
Supporting with producing technically compliant hydraulic schematics and supporting engineering documentation that meet both application and customers' requirements
Supporting to manage hydraulic systems for key projects
Development testing, design validation, commissioning and fault-finding activities
Specifying and selecting hydraulic components and equipment to meet the design requirements
Comply with compliance with Quality Management system and health and safety legislation
NVQ Level 3 / HNC level education in an engineering or technical subject
Hydraulic training at the NPFC or Bath University (or equivalent)
Good general knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, water and vacuum systems would be an advantage
