    We are seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

    We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide maintenance, repair, and support for forklift trucks and materials handling equipment across the Home Counties area.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing similar equipment, such as forklifts, construction plant, powered access, or agricultural machinery.

    While forklift experience is preferred, candidates with relevant experience in related fields will also be considered.
    Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on forklift trucks and materials handling equipment at customer sites.
    Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime and ensure equipment performance.
    Provide technical support and assistance to customers, including troubleshooting issues and offering guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
    Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts usage, labour hours, and customer communication.

    Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, preferably in the forklift truck or materials handling industry.

    Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment effectively.
    Familiarity with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components is highly desirable.
    Experience with construction plant, powered access, or agricultural machinery will be considered advantageous.
    Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Home Counties area.
