Join Our NEW Machine-Made Products Team :

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our _new_ Machine-Made Products team, brought about as the result of us winning a major new contract As this is a new shift, we are looking for 18 new colleagues in this role.

These exciting new 4-day-per-week positions have an intended start date of _January 8th 2024_ and command a starting salary of £11.92 per hour, with an enhanced rate of £14.90 per hour.

This combination of base and enhanced rates delivers a representative _£488 weekly_ gross Furthermore, our new pay banding system allows opportunities to increase this even further as you progress through your training

4 days out of 5 between Monday and Friday (15:30 to 01:30 approx)
a company induction day (09:30 to 15:30) will be required attendance the week before
enhanced rate is for hours between 8pm and 6am and for hours over 40 per week

All roles are fully task-rotated to reduce fatigue and ensure your job remains engaging throughout the course of the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

- _Machine Setup_: You will be responsible for the initial setup of our production machines at the beginning of each shift, ensuring they are set up correctly for the shift
- _Line Operation_: You'll be in charge of operating the production line, making sure it runs at the optimal speed to produce thousands of products per hour
- _Supplying the Production Lines_: You'll also be responsible for keeping our production lines well-supplied with the delicious fillings created by our Mix Room teams.
- _Depositor Operation_: Operating depositors is another important aspect of your role, as you'll ensure that products are accurately filled.
- _Waste Management_: We take waste and yield management seriously, and you will be responsible for collecting and handling waste properly to maintain a clean and efficient work environment for the production of high quality pastry delights.
- _Quality Control_: Performing weight checks on completed products is vital to our quality control efforts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
- _Glazer Operation_: Operating glazers is a part of your role, which involves ensuring it's functioning correctly, offering consistent glaze coverage and at the correct speed.
- _Team Support_: You'll be part of a close-knit team with a dedicated team leader always available to provide help and guidance.
- _Training Program_: We provide full and comprehensive training. You'll undergo a training program that prioritizes quality and efficiency, turning you into a food manufacturing pro in no time
