Pay rate £11.39 per hour PAYE

Hybrid working This is a technical support role working in the Road Closures team to assist with the preparation of temporary and permanent Traffic Regulation Orders Key responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to the Road Closures team.
  • Under supervision, work on selected elements of Traffic Regulation Orders and road closures processes using a combination of administration and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist with the preparation of temporary and permanent Traffic Regulation Order documents following a preset processes.
  • Attend internal working group meetings representing the Road Closure team.
  • Responsible for ensuring information requested by members of the public and other interested parties (such as information on coordination, road closures etc) is provided in a timely manner in accordance with the Corporate Charter.
  • Provide assistance and cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with other Groups within the Department to ensure effective and efficient execution of the Groups responsibilities. Ensure effective communication at all time.
  • Maintain awareness of the Department and Group's documentation, legislation, procedural and other requirements/changes so as to ensure an effective standard of work.
  • Will, as appropriate, participate in specific projects designed to improve the service.
  • Ensure quality procedures are followed in all aspects of work carried out within the Group

If you are successful in securing this role, please note that for the entire duration of this contract, regardless of extension you will be working this role at the PAYE rate that has been advertised. For absolute clarity, we only work on a PAYE basis, rather than entertaining umbrella pay terms, we do not offer Ltd/umbrella or outside IR35 rates. Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
