Our busy Engineering client in the Dungannon area require a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

This role will require a highly skilled experiencedMaintenance Engineerwith a strong Electrical and Mechanical background and is capable of undertaking various planned, reactive and proactive maintenance tasks supporting the overall function of machinery/equipment identifying faults and solutions alike.

This is a fast paced production environment and the individual must be conversant with machine maintenance and repair.

Perform maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment
Maintain and support production electronic/electrical systems.
Working as part of a team and supporting production and operations.
Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues.
Creating a maintenance plan for the organisation's equipment
Establishing maintenance policies and procedures
Conducting frequent quality checks on equipment to ensure no maintenance is required
Completing emergency maintenance when equipment breaks down
Managing the budget for the maintenance of equipment
Keeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out
Ensuring the organisation complies with safety regulations while maintenance takes place
Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
Improve health and safety policies and procedures
NVQ level 3 in either; electrical, mechanical or multiskilled maintenance or formal specific technical qualification
A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience within a manufacturing environment.
Working with and have an in-depth knowledge and experience of Electrical, Mechanical, pneumatics and program knowledge essential.
Knowledge of CNC and PC controlled systems would be desirable
Knowledge of PLC controlled systems and their energised components.
Have strong Electrical fault-finding skills supporting fast and effective problem solving
Experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
