    About the Role

    Provides support to the Manager, Academic and Administrative Services and is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities and financial administration of special purpose, research, project and grant funds for the School of Interactive Arts and Technology. Manages the School's operating budget and grant administration in consultation with the Manager; advises on administrative budget policies; and serves as a resource for faculty researchers and grant holders.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and two years of related experience in financial administration and project management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    Good knowledge of accounting, purchasing, and grant management.

    Good knowledge of Canadian granting agency regulations.

    Excellent organizational, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills.

    Excellent supervisory skills.

    Ability to work independently, establish priorities meet deadlines.

    Ability to exercise mature judgment, initiative, diplomacy and tact.

    Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and work cooperatively and effectively with others.

    Proficient in the use of spreadsheet, database and word processing applications.
