Are you a qualified and experienced English teacher with a passion for fostering a love of literature and language within young minds? Our reputable secondary school in Rotherham is seeking a dedicated individual to join our established team of educators for the upcoming Summer Term.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Create stimulating learning environments that encourage student participation and critical thinking.
Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and attainment.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
