    Description

    We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to Join our Specialist Lymphoedema service. The successful applicant will work countwide, visiting patients in their own homes supporting Community Nursing Services with the management of lymphoedema from an office base in Peterlee. The team work between the hours of 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. The role involves assessing patients and providing specialist advice, signposting where appropriate. Sucessful applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the NMC, additional training specific to the role can be provided.

    Main duties of the job Assess and provide leadership in the management of patients with lymphoedema Offer advice and support to community nursing teams delivering care to patients with lymphoedema Work autonomously using clinical judgement to formulate treatment plans. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
