  • We are recruiting for a temporary

Programmes Assistant to work at one of out centrally based departments starting ASAP for approx. 12 weeks working 36.5 hrs p/w and paying £15.60p/h + Holiday pay.
  • Duties include:
  • ensure that administration, preparation and delivery of executive education courses is executed to the highest standards.
- liaise with speakers and contributors to obtain teaching requirements and materials within set deadlines.
- carry out all aspects of course administration to a high standard, including finding and booking venues, preparing course materials, booking accommodation, responding to inquiries from participants.
- communicating clearly and concisely in a timely, professional, and effective way with a wide range of stakeholders including faculty, guest speakers, participants, off-site venues (both UK and abroad), contractors and support staff.
- to book accommodation, transport and travel related elements, catering, arrange enrichment activities (theatres, college dinners etc.) working with both internal and external suppliers
- maintaining and updating specific online learning platforms (training will be provided.)
- creating and proofing all programme materials, inclusive of handbooks, certificates, badges and tent cards.
- collection and analysis of course feedback, and help to ensure that it informs course design and delivery.
- development of marketing materials and content for social media in support of programmes.

  • Essential Selection Criteria
  • Familiarity and experience of administrative processes within University of Oxford.
  • Outstanding organisational and administrative skills: able to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines, work independently and as a supportive team member, successfully managing projects to their conclusion.
  • Proven ability to work accurately to a high standard.
  • Experience of planning and logistics, possessing effective time management ability with emphasis of multitasking to multiple deadlines.
  • Excellence in a customerfacing role, and an enthusiasm for meeting people and crosscultural awareness.
  • Experience working independently, as a supportive member of a team, with the ability to use own initiative and to solve problems, at times within a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a professional setting, both written and oral.
  • Entrepreneurial and cando approach: independent, selfstarting, highly motivated, confident in working with a high degree of independence and with mínimal direction, able to organise own workload and work to deadlines.
  • A track record of using your skills in administration and project management to communicate and expand your organisation's work with demonstrable results.
