Are you experienced School Support/Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a mainstream primary school in Sutton, St. Helens. The school is set in the heart of the community. They are keen to recruit a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their teamon a long term basis from 6th March until July.

This is a full time job, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm.

The role:

Enthusiastic and hardworking with a dedication to making a difference
Supporting the year 5/6 class teacher & pupils
Supervising in teachers' absence monitoring pupil behaviour & distributing preset work
Being a go to support network for a pupil with Autism as and when he requires it
Can easily engage with children including those who require more support, or a different approach based on their individual needs
Hardworking, sincere, and ambitious with a motivation to progress
A positive, can do attitude to match the schools ethos

Qualification:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Experience:

Teaching Assistants: 1 year classroom bases (preferred)
