Senior Network Engineer - ACI/NXOS - £65,000 - £75,000 - Home/LondonOur client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and NX-OS (Cisco Nexus Operating System).

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, both remotely and in our London office while contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of network solutions.

Responsibilities Act as a trusted single point of contact for the majority of technical activities (design, document, propose, execute, maintain) related to the network domain within the wider project rollout.

Validate existing design patterns and architectures and extend them to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Keep up-to-date with architectural developments and initiatives to ensure they are incorporated into the deployment roadmap when approved.

Work with field engineering teams performing site-specific installation of required network fabric to ensure a high standard, measurable outcomes are successfully achieved.

Design, Plan, Test, and support all network-related changes required for service enablement.
Key SkillsPrevious experience in Cisco ACI deployment/engineering/architecture roles in a network-centric mode.

Capability to translate design artifacts and business requirements into discrete sets of actions for fabric preparation, pre-implementation, and execution of network changes.

Good security and knowledge of data center networking and associated routing and switching requirements, as well as providing fabric-to-network connectivity via L3 OUT.Solid understanding of Cisco UCS platforms and how they support other components in the wider Cisco ecosystem, such as ACI, Nexus Dashboard, etc.

Solid understanding of Nexus 9000 devices and architectures running both in ACI and in NX-OS.Previous experience working with Cisco IOS or IOS-XR-based platforms, such as Cisco ASR 9000 and Cisco NCS 5000 platform will be beneficialHigh-level knowledge of cloud environments and associated Cloud-based security protocols and controlsCCNP Qualified or Equivalent ExperienceThis is a huge hire for my client and equally an amazing opportunity for the successful candidate.
