An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Homecare team at Manchester Foundation Trust. Our homecare service is one of the largest in the country with over 13,000 patients registered.
You will support the delivery of a patient focused Homecare Service and assist with the promotion of cost effective use of medicine.
Under the direction of the Homecare technical team you will work closely with the MDT across various specialties. We are looking for an excellent team player with who is flexible and self-motivated .A working knowledge of hospital pharmacy and or homecare is desirable but not essential as a comprehensive training program is available.
Excellent communication skills both via telephone and email.This post will be based at the ORC site with a requirement to work on other sites as part of a rota.
Processing Homecare prescriptionsDealing with queries from patients, carers and homecare providers via emails and telephones
Liaising with clinical teams to ensure the homecare service is working as it should
