An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant in the Community Neurosciences Team in Warrington, to support the provision of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy to patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions.

The integrated team comprises Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Neurological Nurses, Psychologist and Psychology Assistant, Rehabilitation Assistants and Admin/Clerical staff members.


The caseload comprises the full range of adult neurological conditions and includes Early Supported Discharge for Stroke, Long Term Neurological Conditions and Acquired Brain Injury.

In addition to delivering home based therapy programmes the team run therapy groups including Balance Groups, Cognitive Skills and Fatigue Management.

The team has a strong profile in the Trust and has a history of being involved in clinical research trials.

The team work Monday to Friday from an office base at Orford Jubilee Hub, Warrington.

A flexible approach to day to day tasks is essential, in order to meet the demands of the service, and therefore you may be required (with prior arrangement) to work outside normal working hours.
