    Customer Service Lead

    Location: Manchester M34 3QA
    Salary: £33 - £37K per annum, DOE + Benefits
    Contract: Permanent, Full time
    Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 17.00 Friday 08.00 to 13.00

    Unitrunk Ltd is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of steel cable management systems with distribution centers throughout the UK. We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Lead for our Croydon Depot.

    Customer Service Lead - The Role:

    Responsible for managing the daily operational interface between the Customer and the depot.

    Main duties and responsibilities:


    • Be responsible for ensuring all Quotations and Sales Orders are processed and completed in a timely fashion

    • Proactively manage effective working relationships with customers ensuring that all customer services issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner

    • Be responsible for purchasing any goods required to meet specific customer needs

    • Ensure that all returns are agreed and processed in accordance with company policy

    • Manage all customer complaints using the complaints procedure

    • Be responsible for planning all workflow through the depot

    • Provide relevant reports in line with company procedures

    • Be responsible for ensuring that all company policies are adhered to within the depot

    • Ensure that fleet management requirements are fully adhered to

    • Co-ordinate cycle counting and monthly/bi-annual stock checks

    Customer Service Lead - The Candidate:

    The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and driven.


    • Experience of directly managing personnel on a daily basis and allocating tasks to specific individuals.

    • Experience of taking responsibility for the workflow within a team of people and meeting deadlines based on business needs.

    • Must have experience working with computerized business systems.

    • Good commercial knowledge of sales processes such as sales order processing, quotations etc.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

    • Knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry would be advantageous
