Business Development Manager - Hazardous Waste

Salary:
Up to £40,000 basic depending on experience OTE £50k + bonus, car and benefits.

The Company is poised for significant expansion and now are seeking a dynamic Business Development Managerwith leadership potential to help grow the business and drive the business plan.


Role & Responsibilities


As Business Development Manager your focus will be securing new hazardous waste contracts, with a total waste management approach also brokering other non-hazardous waste streams when required.

The role is varied and would entail sourcing and developinga portfolio of new and existing clients.

This would be a hybrid role, combining time in the office with working from home along with face-to-face meetings which will form part of your responsibility.

This s a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious BDM looking for career progression, the Hazardous Waste BDM will have the opportunity to build the Hazardous waste sales division within a rapidly expanding Total waste Management brokerage that currently employsover 120 people.


Experience / Knowledge Required

  • Experience of selling waste and recycling service solutions
  • Proven ability to open doors and win large value accounts; experience/active network in the, hazardous waste transfer and disposal, oily rag/oil filter and packaged waste markets or related sectors
  • Confident with strong negotiation skills and the ability to close a deal.
  • Current / previous roles may include Corporate or National Business Development Manager, National Sales Manager, Regional Business Development / Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Key Account Manager
  • Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Driving licence essential

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with an early finish on a Friday
