Description
To support the implementation / delivery of the Training Needs Analysis within Gynaecology Services at the site(s) of responsibility.

Work with the Ward Sister, Deputy Sister, Specialist Nurses and Gynaecology Matron in supporting new staff to the service.


To support the delivery of on-going education, in-service training and continuing professional development of gynaecology staff in line with national standards in maintaining their professional updates as part of revalidation.


Promotes a positive learning environment supporting on woman centred, evidenced based care and empowering the nursing workforce to be an advocate for women accessing the service.


They will be responsible for a team of nurses and will provide clinical support, guidance and professional development, whilst complying with Trust policies, protocols and guidelines they will ensure efficient and effective service delivery and will promote nurse led initiatives.

Our latest CQC report increased our ratings for being effective and well-led from 'Requires Improvement' to 'Good'. Our rating for caring remained as 'Good'.
