    Position: Key Account Manager - Scotland (East)

    Role: Full-Time, Permanent

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a specified territory in Scotland (East), engaging with healthcare professionals to promote products in gastroenterology and urology therapy areas.
    • Demonstrate innovation and solution-oriented approach, being curious, entrepreneurial, and adept at creating opportunities.
    • Foster a belief in empowering individual employees to drive opportunities within their local healthcare environment.
    • Receive support and necessary learning resources from the company.
    • Visit healthcare professionals, including payers, to educate them about our products in alignment with brand marketing strategies, and provide feedback on local environmental factors to internal stakeholders.
    • Maintain strong relationships with relevant healthcare professionals and cultivate local expertise in promoted therapy areas.
    • Collaborate with Medical and Marketing teams to facilitate attendance at local, national, and international congresses.
    • Serve as the local healthcare business expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of the healthcare environment and prioritizing accounts to drive territory business.
    • Regularly review business plans to ensure alignment with account objectives and tactics.
    • Manage a local budget to support key accounts and customers, with the opportunity to request additional investment for specific projects or opportunities.
    • Adhere to the requirements of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI).

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
    • Circa 3-5 years experience with hospital selling (secondary care).
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong experience in key account management within the pharmaceutical sales sector.
    • Experience in Gastro/Urology would be ideal but not essential.
    • Track record of achieving ambitious sales targets.
    • Proficiency in computer skills.
