E-commerce Lead Qualifier - Marlow, United Kingdom - Whistl

As a key growth area, the role of the E-commerce Lead Qualifier is to find, evaluate, and prime warm leads for the E-commerce Senior Business Development Executive (SBDE) and E-commerce Business Development Executive (BDE) to then develop, resulting in maximisingthe conversion of new business opportunities on to the Leafletdrop platform.
The Lead Qualifier will become an expert in using marketing tools such as LinkedIn and Mint, to contact both existing and new users of Doordrop and qualify their appetite to progress to a demo of the Leafletdrop platform.
The Lead qualifier will also lead on project-based approaches, cleansing data and sales support collateral to support the SBDE and BDE in converting as many warm leads on the site as possible.
Lead Generation and Qualification
- Use LinkedIn and other resource data to identify existing users of the medium and their decisionmakers within the client organisations in order to make contact, qualify, and warm up leads for the SBDE and BDE
- Generate the agreed minimum of qualified leads per day for the wider sales community in line with targets communicated by the line manager
- Share best practice with the wider team and actively participate in team meetings
- Keep up to date with industry issues such as legislation, best practice, hot topics in order to have a rounded and informed opinion when communicating with prospects
- Project manage all campaigns for new business opportunities
- Ensure all contacts and actions taken are logged in HubSpot
- Work closely with the sales enablement executive (SEE) to follow up on all mailers and qualify leads for SBDE and BDE
- Work closely with the SEE to ensure that feedback on mailers, including bouncebacks and optouts are logged
- Work closely with the Director of Commercial (DoC) to put in place project plans for lead qualification based on prospect feedback and market conditions
Sales Team Support
- Work with the SBDE to provide support that warms up clients including 3M vas reports and competitor reports
- Work with the SEE to distil industry knowledge into effective sound bites to encourage new business through sourcing leads
- Keep the Sales and CS team updated on collateral shared by the business that will support the sales and account development process
- Provide the sales team with feedback from prospects to feed into the sales cycle
Other
- Undertake adhoc administrative activities at the direction of the SBDE or DoC
- Represent Whistl in a professional and businesslike manner

Technical Skills

Experience
- Competence on the telephone and a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel are vital, as is a methodical approach to keeping electronic records
- Ability to acquire key information quickly and accurately from prospective customers
- Excellent data entry skills
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of Leafletdrop system would be beneficial
- Experience in a sales or business service environment is an advantage
- A proven track record in telephone lead generation and/or selling is an advantage
- Ideally, working knowledge of CRM systems
