The Role - IT Director

Duration - Contract basis for approx. 8 weeks

Day rate - Circa £ per day with likely outside IR35 status

Location - Central London / Hybrid Working

This is a consultancy role working for a company that operates in the commercial real estate sector.

They have around 130 internal users, and support circa. 500 external businesses with perhaps 10,000 users across an estate of around 30 buildings in the UK.

We're looking for an IT director calibre consultant to join the business and to audit, then advise on a strategic plan of action for the internal technology function across the business. The current model leans heavily on outsourced technology partners so at some point, we will look to recruit a permanent head of IT candidate but in the interim, we need a consultant to come and build a roadmap, advising the board on best plan of action and then handover to the permanent successor who will be tasked with the implementation of the plan (There might be some overlap with the two positions.)

The technical environment is the typical Microsoft bias technology stack.

The role will involve time spent at the Central London office (Monument) and then flexibility will also be in place by way of hybrid / working from home.

Expected duration of the assignment will be 6-8 weeks.
