    XPO Logistics are looking for a Shift Manager for our contract in Thurrock. This is your opportunity to take charge of a busy and unique transport operation. Working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, you'll be comfortable challenging process and driving the operation forwards – does this sound like something for you?

    What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Take overall responsibility for the day to day running of the shift function, including the relationship with the customer.
  • Drive standards for operational compliance and health and safety
  • Ensure that late shift KPIs are hit and meet the customer SLAs.
  • Get involved in HR activity, including incident investigations, disciplinaries and performance management.
  • What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • A strong, demonstrable background in Logistics management
  • Ideally, you'll have worked in a Fuel delivery environment and understand customer needs.
  • National or International CPC, IOSH is desirable, Experience with remote out base operations is preferable.
  • Experience successfully performance managing leadership teams
