    The role
    As a Pollution Control Officer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of all the duties outlined and the description to expected standards. Also, you will be responsible, and accountable for any other Supply Chain related activities and services as required to meet or exceed the company and customer expectations.

    Day-to-day, you'll carry out any/all logistic duties/Babcock policies, practices, and procedures at all times, as well as:

  • Undertake duties of the Pollution Control Officer (PCO)/Babcock policies, practices, and procedures at all times.
  • Undertaking the issue, receipt, and storage of the logistics Supply Chain in support of HADES operations.
  • Assist with any stock reconciliations by carrying out Stocktaking/Snap Check programmes within Stockholding Groups as required.
  • Complete daily housekeeping for all areas of responsibility to ensure safety and cleanliness expectations are maintained.
  • This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cranwell.

    Essential experience of the Pollution Control Officer:

  • Experience with logistics-based computer systems.
  • Experience with MJDI Computer System.
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain/Logistics in a military or civilian environment.
  • Qualifications for the Pollution Control Officer:

  • Practical Pollution Prevention Training (PPPT) (This is essential for the role, if not held training will be provided as this is essential for the role).
  • Forklift Truck License.
  • Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC Clearance.
