Description

Key priorities for role:


  • Import and export of samples
  • Control and management for sending product and pack samples to various locations and stakeholders globally following export regulations; completing paperwork, export health certificate completion, liaising with vets for on site visits, labelling and shipment
  • Control and management of samples imported to Birstall under import permits, completing necessary paperwork, labelling and organisation of correct disposal
  • Ownership of customs information and support of associates with customs clearance procedures
  • Purchasing and budget support
  • Creating and managing framework orders
  • Supporting teams and individuals with purchasing items and services by raising purchase orders, organising manual payments, checking invoices and completing goods receipt process
  • Organising cross charges between internal cost centres as and when required
  • Acting as key point of contact between the GIC team and finance teams for any issues relating to purchase orders and invoices
  • Provide support to GIC budget coordinator to follow up queries, help with reporting or collecting data
  • Manage laboratory analysis requests
  • Request analysis of R&D samples at internal and external laboratories either via the ATLAS system or by manual request
  • Follow up with analysing laboratory for missing or delayed results
  • Share information between GIC associates and laboratory to ensure service provided is meeting expectations, work with MGS lab team to provide feedback if improvement is needed
  • Management and coordination of pet centre trials
  • Act as a key contact to provide guidance for associates using the pet centre and ensure they are following right process for requesting trials, completing necessary paperwork, meeting Q&F'S requirements and sending samples
  • Other
  • Source various product samples from relevant markets globally to support that research projects or activities
  • Support the coordination for preparing samples for consumer testing by organising and
overseeing sample preparation, labelling and co-packing
