    The Senior Security Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, and executing our Security capabilities. This position involves crafting processes, procedures, and workflows for Security tooling, monitoring, and incident response. Collaboration with technical and non-technical teams is essential to ensure comprehensive security measures. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential security threats

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Managing the day-to-day interface with Fastmarkets outsourced MSSP SOC team
    • To lead the security operation function, under the direction of Head of Information Security
    • Taking a hands on approach with our tools, in an expert capacity
    • Working in cross functional teams to deliver projects or change
    • Provide input into security strategy and roadmap planning.
    • Develop and mature security documentation (e.g playbooks, use cases, policies and processes)
    • Assessing compliance with security policies to identify control gaps.
    • Lead the information security incident response team
    • Identifying and registering risks in partnership with business team
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
    • Managing and partaking in the on-call rota
    • Configuring security tooling to adequately protect Fastmarkets

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

    • Extensive experience in handling InfoSec incidents and Data breaches.
    • Possess a deep understanding of how a SOC functions
    • Display broad knowledge of security tooling such as WAF, Zscaler, SIEM, DLP, EDR, email security, Vulnerability management
    • Exhibit excellent technical proficiency in Azure, including security and best practices.
    • Stay informed about new and emerging security threats and assess the effectiveness of current controls
    • Experience in line management and development of others
    • Show a strong understanding of security frameworks
    • A continuous improvement mindset, and a commitment to knowledge sharing, mentoring junior staff, and documenting processes
    • A self-starter who is confident in communicating with business and technology partners and senior management
    • Ability to prioritise workloads and problem-solve
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across different functions
