    As a Measurement Specialist you will be part of a small Metrology team working on complex analysis topics. The team are specialists and have access to some very precise measurement equipment to support the complex root cause of production related topics.

    What awaits you?

    • Complex Geometric root cause analysis for all body/trim/single part issues (series & launch)
    • Measurement and verification of geometry using a variety of coordinate measurement devices
    • The proposal, verification and implementation of containment and permanent actions.
    • Maintenance and calibration compliance of all measurement facilities
    • Monitor and make recommendations for facility upgrades and transformation of measurement methods inline with group strategy and latest market developments
    • Measurement report generation, handshaking and alignment to requestor
    • Solving Geometric production & launch issues to ensure problems are dealt with in a timely manner using tools/info such as CAD, measurement data, Pruefcube analysis
    • Measurement of BIW/trim/single parts as requested and feedback and presentation of results to requestor
    • Responsible for the analysis and resolution of Geometry problems on series level cars providing containments in the short term followed by steering robust longer term solutions with Engineering departments in Munich and Goodwood. Goal is to ensure all problems are resolved and do not detrimentally affect the production of cars.

    What you should bring along?

    • A minimum of one of the below requirements or equivalent must be met.
    • HND or Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
    • Mechanical Apprenticeship
    • Professionally qualified (either associate or full member) of an Institute

    Level of working experience required.

    • A minimum of two years in a measurement environment preferred.
    • Working knowledge of CATIA/have the ability to manipulate models
    • A minimum of two years in an analysis environment
    • A minimum of two years working in a low to medium volume manufacturing environment
    • Proven detailed report writing
    • Ability to read Engineering drawings
    • Some knowledge of PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, VPS large & 6 Sigma
    • Tolerance management and full understanding of GD&
