Job Overview:

The successful Cover Supervisor Teacher will be qualified to Degree Level and will have a passion for working with children. Work will include the supervision of the whole class during short-term absences of class teachers under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, delivery of pre-prepared exercises, managing student behaviour, and assisting students in relevant activities in line with school policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Support the classroom teacher in the delivery and production of the lesson.

Provide one-to-one support to students.

Manage behavior in the classroom.

Interact with students, staff, and parents.

Engage in classroom activities.

Aid the educational and emotional development of students.

Requirements:

The right to work in the UK.

Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.

Is a patient and approachable individual.

Has positive communication skills.

Has a passion for student development.

Ideally, experience in a school setting.
