LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Permanent Contract, Required February 2023

27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (43.6 paid weeks)

Scale 3, within the range 4-5 (Actual salary £13,169 - £13,409)


We are looking for a new member of staff to join our learning support assistant team to support children to gain as much as they can from all of the learning opportunities offered to them.

Our learning support assistants have the opportunity to work throughout our school, supporting children in classrooms as well as individually.

If you are passionate about learning and teaching and able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice we would love to hear from you.

The successful applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to work on his/her own initiative as well as the ability to work as part of a team.


This post is for 27.5 hours per week term time (38 working weeks per year), working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 3pm.

All shortlisted applicants will be required to bring to interview evidence of their qualifications for this role (i.e. five or more GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade 5 (C) or above, including English, Maths and Science). Interviews will not go ahead without this.
