    Role: Plant Quality Engineer

    Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + Excellent Benefits and Career progression

    Company: A leading, global manufacturing business that specialises in producing building products into a variety of industries.

    Location: Leominster, Hereford, Ludlow Area

    We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer A leading, global manufacturing business that specialises in producing building products into a variety of industries.

    Due to a recent restructure of the quality department, they are now seeking a Quality Assurance/ Quality Engineer to fully support the Quality department.

    Other key duties include;

    • Support the Upkeep of the Business Management System
    • Ability to create and support the upkeep Quality Metrics
    • Liaise with Customers & Suppliers in Complaints handling
    • Be competent in Quality Principles including Problem Resolution / Root Cause Analysis
    • To carry out Internal & Supplier audits as required within the organisation
    • Support Customer and Third-Party Audits
    • Support all internal departments with quality related matters
    • Be fully conversant in reading engineering drawings
    • Assist in maintaining and adhering to the organisations accredited systems such as ISO9001 and all customer requirements.
    • To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility.

    To be successful in the role as Quality Engineer you'll have the following skills and experience;

    • You'll be fully conversant with Problem Resolution & Root Cause Analysis
    • You'll have working experience within a manufacturing/ production environment.
    • You'll be comfortable managing your own workload and will have excellent time management skills.
    • You'll be used to working within a Continuous improvement environment and ideally have a six sigma (green belt) qualification – desirable.
    • You'll also be fully conversant with quality standards such as ISO9001 and ideally would have some auditing experience.
    • Willingness to accept and embrace change
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills and ability to prioritise
    • Strong attention to detail
    • High work ethic, sound judgement, discretion at all times
