The Content Hub is British Airways' in-house creative studio, specialising in a dynamic mix of graphic design, video, photography and audio content.

The team's high profile output can be seen by customers, colleagues and the media.

No two days are the same, working across a fast-paced portfolio of varied and exciting briefs from marketing, CX, PR, social and colleague communications.

You could be producing a video that tells our sustainability story, photographing new products on board, or even designing the livery of an aircraft.

With increasing demand and the scope of our portfolio broadening, this is an exciting period for the Content Hub.

We are looking for an inspiring leader and creative talent to play an integral role in shaping and crafting the next chapter of our brand.


Taking a lead position in the team, this role will be accountable for BA's in-house video and audio production, working alongside the Design Lead to champion all creative direction and strategy.


Key duties

  • Overall daytoday running of video production; designing the process and framework for delivering high quality content
  • Building an outstanding team of videographers and editors, with a focus on growing capability and skills
  • Championing the team to deliver compelling content from initial concepting to final delivery, through inspirational and effective leadership
  • Developing and implementing an insightled omnichannel video, photography & audio content strategy, to support business areas and commercial needs
  • Acting as the content authority across all video / photoshoot briefs. Delivering and providing guidance on the conception and development of storyboards
  • Overseeing and directing creative agencies, suppliers and talent, building out a reliable and responsive support network for the team
  • Leading on performance analysis of assets produced, and propose actions for the future to continually improve
  • Guiding creative processes and staying abreast of AV advancements, providing opportunities for greater vision and innovation
  • Leading on technical solutions and integration, proposing effective content tools, equipment and kit

Skills & experience

Leadership:ability to inspire and influence directly and indirectly across functions. Experience building teams, mentoring creative teams and directing agencies / suppliers

AV Production:has vision and flair for creative ideation, within the parameters of content and brand guidelines

Data analysis:an ability to analyse content data and insights and make recommendations
-
Supplier network:holds relationships with content producers, developers and agencies to grow team longer term and continually improve deliverables

Strategic: translates information and analysis into actions. interdependencies between projects, brand/commercial priorities and sees the bigger picture

Resource management:ability to prioritise and judge effective use of resources, across activities based on short and long term needs

Strong communication uses a number of influencing approaches to build support for ideas and plans. Strong ability to present and articulate clear creative direction to multiple parties

Agency management:experience building successful agency partnerships with shared goals

Content development: experience delivering outstanding AV content that sets you apart. Strong portfolio of conceptual work, integrated marketing campaigns and branding.

Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro expert knowledge
