Description

One of the UKs leading Wealth Management brands is seeking to recruit an up and coming Financial Planning Business Analyst to sit within their Financial Planning Operation Team, the role would initially be a 12 month FTC with potential scope to move intoa permanent role after that.


The Role:


The Financial Planning operations team provides support to day-to-day business processes, develops and implements change to support the strategic goals of RBC Brewin Dolphin.


The FP Data Analyst works within FP operation team to implement business solutions in a cost-effective manner by identifying and documenting problems, eliciting, analysing, verifying, and documenting requirements and ensuring the delivery of appropriatesolutions through communication with team-members and stakeholders.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Investigation and problem analysis
  • Analysis of large data sets
  • Business process improvement
  • Requirements definition
  • Business change deployment
  • Stakeholder engagement

Key tasks within FP Operations team will include:

  • Working with business and technical stakeholders to analyse data flows and data
  • Working with large data sets and establishing a control framework
  • Working with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document and verify problems
  • Working within the team to ensure solutions are appropriate
  • Supporting the implementation of solutions through communication with stakeholders, involvement in business testing, and participation in business and technical readiness activities
  • Working at all times with the team to ensure deadlines and milestones are met, risks/issues/dependencies are identified and managed,
  • Issues are reported and escalated as required.


This role would suit a Data Analyst on the upward curve of their career who has some experience of working within a financial services sector who is keen to further develop their skills and knowledge within a prestigious name in the wealth management sector.
