Machine Operator

  • Lincolnshire Herbs is one of the largest growers of fresh cut and living pot herbs in the UK. We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Machine Operator for our Herb banding and Cutting Machine.

Responsibilities

Executing the Daily Plan

  • Ensuring all products are packed with precision, maintaining a 100% accuracy rate.

Machine Management

  • Setting up and operating of machine, proactively addressing any operational issues that arise.

Documentation

  • Diligently completing all required paperwork with accuracy.

Performance Goals

  • Striving to meet production KPIs with a focus on enhancing both operational efficiencies and financial outcomes.

Collaboration

  • Working closely with the maintenance team to promptly address machine breakdowns.

Safety Compliance

  • Performing all tasks in a safe manner whilst adhering to Health & Safety protocols.

Quality Assurance

  • Upholding the highest standards of product quality.

Qualification / Experience

  • Experienced machine operator _(Preferably but not essential from within the fresh produce sector)_
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal with attention to detail _(in order to interpret written working procedures)_
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
