As a Barclays Model Risk Governance Delivery Manager, you will work as part of our Governance and Engagement team and be accountable for helpingthe delivery of key forums and reporting deliverables.

Ensuring effective communication, improving accountabilityand transparency, and enabling informed decision making you will also be responsible for identifying and supporting delivery of continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the overall governance, reporting and engagement framework.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • You will focus on Model Risk Governance delivery, coordinating and assisting the production and review of meeting content
  • Helping with the oversight and management of Model Risk Governance Delivery plans, escalating risks, issues, and dependencies
  • You will assist with the creation, maintenance, and approval of terms of reference and agendas
  • Supporting the effective operation and management of the Model Risk governance framework through the execution of targeted reviews
  • Providing assistance to the wider Group Model Risk Governance and Model Risk team, as and when required on ad hoc deliverables

What we' re looking for:


  • Experience of operating within a Risk and/or Control environment with reporting and/or governance
  • An ability to execute secretariat duties and responsibilities
  • An ability to effectively review, synthesise and interrogate data /information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work closely with stakeholders at various levels of seniority

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel, prioritise these accordingly and meet associated deadlines
  • Highly organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience of Model Risk Management frameworks

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and it is easily accessible by tube and bus links.

With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to nonewith a real buzz being created around the offices within.
