Role Summary:

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Salary:
Up to £25,000 depending on experience

This generalist role will support on all aspects of the employee life cycle and is suitable for a first HR role, with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Support with recruitment, including reviewing CVs and shortlisting
Onboarding checks, including references, right to work and security checks
Inductions and new starter assistance
HR system support and guidance
Processing leavers and conducting exit interviews
Supporting internal and external requests related to the HR department and individuals employment
Employee record maintenance
Completing references and ad hoc letters
Assisting with the development of internal strategies and improvements, including wellbeing and engagement
Admin support for higher level HR duties and projects
Payroll assistance
Overseeing the set up and completion of mandatory learning
Employee of the month and length of service awards

Personal Qualities and Experience:

HR experience and qualifications desired but not essential
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong administration experience
Confidentiality/ discretion
Ability to manage own work load and time
IT Literate (experience of using Inhouse systems)
