    Test Technician / Quality Compliance Engineer

    Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to progress in a leading design and manufacturing company? Do you have experience in a product testing or quality role?

    My client is an international leader in the design and manufacture of over 300 products that are used on power boats, yachts, off-road vehicles, RVs & industrial spaces across the world. They are seeking a Product Compliance Engineer / Testing Technician to drive regulatory compliance within the business.

    We welcome applications from junior and experienced Mechanical Engineers with product manufacturing experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing compliance and testing processes.
    • Lead regulatory compliance
    • Manage product compliance testing.
    • Guide product testing throughout the development life cycle.
    • Collaborate with Quality and Design managers to create and own product test specifications.
    • Develop test procedures, protocols, standards, plans, and reports.
    • Perform hands-on product testing as required.
    • Maintain in house test equipment.
    • Participate in product risk assessments, such as FMEA, to proactively mitigate potential risks.

    Key Skills:

    • Level 4 (HNC) or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
    • Ideally have worked in or around a Test Engineering department or Quality department maybe as a Test Engineer, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Machine Assembler
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
    • 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of compliance would be beneficial i.e. CE, UKCA, RoHS, REACH, Prop 65 and other relevant standards is beneficial.
    • Experience of 5s/6s, RCCA, and problem-solving is beneficial.
    • CAD experience beneficial but not essential
