#Supporter Care Officer #Fundraising


You will support the Head of Supporter Care to provide an excellent level of supporter care to our supporters by ensuring donations received by Muscular Dystrophy UK are coded and processed in a timely fashion and that all supporters are acknowledged and thanked within the relevant agreed timescales.


SUPPORTER CARE RESPONSIBILITIES

1.
Donations Processing

  • Support the Senior Supporter Care Officer with donation processing and to ensure the team:
Ø Open and sort all donations received in the London office by post.

Ø Batch all donations onto Dynamics nfp received in the London office for the Fundraising & Marketing teams.

Ø To ensure that the appropriate thank you letters are sent as outlined in our procedures.

Ø Input Gift Aid information into Dynamics nfp.

  • Assist in weekly and monthly quality checking of donations and Gift Aid as appropriate.
  • Assist with quarterly Gift Aid claims
  • Support with closing off month end procedures and reporting.
  • Assist with legacy administration

2.
Co-ordinating and supporting fundraising department activities

  • To be an integral member of the Supporter Care, Database and Finance Stakeholder group and work through any actions agreed by the team at monthly meetings as appropriate.
  • Filing and Archiving of paperwork in regard to donations in line with audit procedures

3.
Finance Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Team during reconciliation by responding to any queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • To undertake any additional Finance Team responsibilities agreed with advance notice between the Head of Supporter Care and Head of Finance.

  • To contribute to the overall development of the charity as and when required
  • To ensure that all actions comply with the spirit of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • To represent the charity externally if required and to undertake other such tasks as required by the line manager

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
