    Our Placement Scheme:
    System Support Analyst The successful candidate will have a comprehensive and exciting induction into our business.

    During the 12 months the candidate will work with different teams across the company in supporting our Service Delivery Life Cycle.

    Within a structured environment, the successful candidate will assist in the support and release of business software in line with the company's strategy of providing a high quality and continuously improving service to our existing clients.

    The person appointed will be required to analyze requirements, design, and code and test programs to agreed standards, provide specifications and general assistance within all departments.

    The applicant will be working on a variety of system and business-related problems, changes, and maintenance, working in a close-knit team.

    The applicant should have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, energetic, and can learn rapidly on the job and be able to share knowledge and ideas throughout the team.

    About the RoleBelow are some of our deliverables that would be included in the role:
    Gathering data to identify and fix a variety of system/business related problemsProviding technical on-site support to PSL employeesProducing documentation according to business requirementsstoring information in accordance with company policy and standardsIdentify the areas impacted by system changesProvide 1st line support to clients both internally and externally Working with 2nd and 3rd line support teams Managing support calls Assisting with helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting, and escalating issues where necessarySupporting the roll-out of new applications and hardwareAssisting on exciting IT Projects, where you can learn and develop your skillset Setting up new users' accounts, resetting passwords and assisting with general onboarding issues Assisting in the management of PSL's Asset Management toolKnowledge skills & experienceCustomer service experience Good communication skills Problem solving skillsAble to overcome obstaclesThe ability to quickly gain a clear understanding of technical challengesInformation gathering and ability to take ownership and see things through to resolutionTeam workingStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and organisational skillsAbility to work on own initiativeMaintaining attention to detailWhat Happens Next?We aim to go through all placement applications by Friday 10th of May 2024 and get back to all candidates within this timeframe, we then will have a placement day for all students on a selected day in June which we will then make offers to two applicants who will start in August
