We are looking for an experienced 'luxury shop florist' to head up our Marylebone retail store in Chiltern Street. We require a dedicated and loyal individual who will be a key part of our company's successful retail space. We require a flexible individual who has proven experience of shop management within a luxury florist.
Working closely with the Company Directors, Studio and Operations Manager and our florists, you will oversee the day to day running of the store, ensuring we maintain a beautifully presented shop at all times with a welcoming environment for our customers and staff.
Role details
Full responsibility for the day to day running of the shop: -
● Maintain a high-end customer experience and a welcoming shop environment at all times. Maintain a positive working environment in the shop at all times.
● Emulate Grandirosa brand throughout the shop experience and all bouquets and floral displays.
● Manage all orders and deliveries effectively, including in-store, telephone and on-line.
● Manage and deliver all customer enquiries including small events, weddings, local contract orders and space hire.
● Prepare floral proposals where required for various enquiries and attend client meetings where required.
● Practice effective stock management and maintain a stock inventory (reduce waste)
● Be dedicated to ensuring customers' satisfaction and needs are met. And any complaints are dealt with to a satisfactory standard.
● Keep a detailed record of daily/weekly sales. Provide reports on sales figures.
● Come up with and execute concepts and ideas for seasonal window displays.
Requirements for role
● Effective team player (i.e. willing and able to step into our studio to help on events and general support on large projects)
● Retail floristry experience is a must.
● Experience across others areas of floristry (Events, contracts)
● Excellent communication skills.
● Ability to work under pressure.
● Proactive and positive attitude.
● A passion for retail floristry and luxury high-end design
General requirements for Grandirosa
● Strong understanding of the florist and event industry;
● Be flexible and adaptable, building strong relationship internally and externally;
● Possess a clear passion and energy for Grandirosa;
● Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required;
● Communicate regularly and effectively with the Directors and to seek support from appropriate staff at the earliest opportunity should problems arise.
Must have requirements for any applicant:
● Right to work in the UK
● 5 Years' experience at management level in a luxury florist
● Be enthusiastic, diligent and proactive;
● Be hard working with a 'muck in approach' attitude;
● Be comfortable working on their own initiative as well as working within a team;
● Be forward thinking and always planning ahead;
● Be confident with Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and Microsoft Word/Excel/ppt etc; and
● Be confident in managing a team.
