    Job Purpose

    Participates in engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. This role reports to the Completions Field Service Manager, in the Guyana Customer Services Organization, Georgetown, Guyana.

    Job Description

  • Provides onsite and remote technical support and coordination for Topsides Controls operations executed by TechnipFMC at various Field Locations (onshore and offshore) for Guyana projects.
  • Supports installation and testing alone or alongside service technicians on the below scopes; FPSO Commissioning FPSO Maintenance Changeouts of Subsea Equipment that ties into controls system (SCMs, Chokes, EFLs, SFLs, etc.) MSV Installation Operations
  • Technical planning for field support work to ensure job readiness.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation and procedures.
  • Respond to technical requests with direct customer interface.
  • Provide planned and unplanned technical support and troubleshooting for onshore and offshore activities.
  • Ensure GFERPs and SNs are submitted timely and reviewed at the field level.
  • Provide technical input to RCAs and resolution of field non-conformances.
  • Assist in development of specialty equipment needed to support customer.
  • Provide interface resolution between TFMC and non-TFMC equipment.
  • Host Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR) prior to on or off-site execution of work.
  • Host After Action Reviews (AAR) following on or off-site execution of work.
  • Ensure functional locations are created for assigned projects.
  • Create and maintain project equipment lists and document registry for projects.
  • Inventory control for FPSO equipment, tools, and spares.
  • Develop, maintain and release Maintenance plans and support FPSO Maintenance
  • Support and track yearly obsolescence on Controls Equipment.
  • Support software upgrades on various field equipment.
  • Support training and development of Guyanese Controls TSPs.
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • Must be a Guyanese National.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship.
  • BS degree in Engineering required.
  • 2- 4 years of experience in the O&G industry, field experience is required.
  • Controls and Automation background and be familiar with controls software (SmartTool, UCOS, etc.)
  • Interest and ability to perform hands-on labor in a field environment during operational execution.
  • Travel offsite/offshore as needed.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possess strong PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Effective understanding and communication within diverse cultural environments.
  • Ability to present ideas, concepts, data and facts in a clear and concise manner and the ability to persuade and influence others as needed.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Embody a customer-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Demonstrate commitment to core values and leads by example.
  • Must be able to complete T-HUET/BOSIET training and all other relevant offshore training.
  • Work Environment/Physical Demands

    Work Environment: Spend 25% time in an office environment and/or 75% in onshore/offshore field environment. May be exposed to possible hazards including noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations and shop/field traffic.

    Physical Demands: Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Hands-on labor in a shop and/or field environment requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
