    While the Cloud Architect position is a hands-on technical role, we'd be particularly interested to find Architects with a desire to lead projects and take an active role in leading client discussions.

    Your duties will include establishing strong connections with potential clients, devising innovative solutions to address their needs, defining project parameters, and supervising the execution of these projects.


    Role of the Cloud Architect / Data Architect:
    Utilising advanced data processing and cloud technologies effectively to stimulate innovation.
    Engaging with clients to create top-notch solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
    Assisting sales teams by providing technical insights to devise solutions for complex client needs.
    Reviewing architectures for key clients, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and communicating suggestions to senior client stakeholders.
    Contributing to internal knowledge sharing, aiding in the creation of valuable resources and leadership content.
    Operating proficiently in a flexible and dynamic setting, collaborating closely with a cohesive team of data professionals.
    Acting as a leader and mentor to team members, fostering their professional development.
    Working closely with technology partners such as Google Cloud (GCP), dbt Labs, and Looker.
    Playing a crucial role in shaping the architecture team, driving innovation and maintaining high standards of performance.

    Requirements of the Cloud Architect / Data Architect:
    Demonstrate a proven track record in designing and building robust big data cloud architectures.
    Possess the capability to take ownership of end-to-end projects, showcasing your problem-solving skills and creativity.

    Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer certificationVery Disrable to have hands-on experience with ETL tools, Hadoop-based technologies (e.g., Spark), and batch/streaming data pipelines (e.g., Beam, Flink etc)Proven expertise in designing and constructing data lakes and data warehouse solutions utilising technologies such as BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Redshift, Oracle, Teradata, and more.

    Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to support dynamic project management.
    Valuable contributions to open-source projects, reflecting your commitment to the broader tech community.
