The Role

You'll become part of one of our friendly and dedicated teams who support individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities across two services.

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same

One of the gents is an avid gamer and enjoys his computer time every day - he also enjoys going out drives in his new car.

The other gent has a mischievous streak, is full of fun and has a fantastic memory.

As a Support Practitioner you will be supporting day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication.

As well as helping the people we support in their own homes, you'll support them with attending activities and events out in their community, accompany them on outings and attending health appointments, and support them to maintain relationships with their friends and family.

You'll take an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care and be supportive and encourage the people we support to express their wishes and views.

For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence as the person we support has his own mobility car and loves getting out for drives.

To be an amazing Support Practitioner we'll need you to have;
- a caring and compassionate attitude
- the ability to work well in a team
- good communication and organisational skills
- a positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- a creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
- confidence in the use of computers
