We are currently seeking a Product Safety Engineer on a Permanent basis in Glasgow, with travel to site upto once a month.

In addition to working on super exciting projects, this role will have the opportunity for overseas travel and/or secondment if the successful candidate desires


What you'll be doing:
Facilitate the implementation of relevant Product Safety processes and production of deliverables
Support with the management of the hazards, risks and associated mitigations and contribute to the development of the hazard log
Contribute to the maturity of information contained within developing safety arguments to go in to the safety report.
Specifically you will receive training in the area of fire safety for Naval platforms with the intent that you will become a specialist in this field


Your skills and experiences:

Essential:
Experience in product safety management processes and techniques
Experience in obtaining classification certificationFamiliar with report writing and developing safety arguments Desirable: Experience of ANEP77 highly desirable
Experience leading hazard identification meetings

Background within a Naval/Maritime environment or similar highly regulated industry Excellent package and company benefits on offer for this pivotal role.
